ILM Level 2 Award in Team Leading

Validated by the Institute of Leadership & Management, this programme is designed for all team leaders, or those with co-ordinating responsibilities.

Overview

This course is made up of one mandatory unit and several optional units including:

  • Developing yourself as a team leader
  • Developing the work team
  • Fulfilling customer requirements
  • Information to solve problems
  • Dealing with change in the workplace
  • Diversity in the workplace
  • Workplace communication

 

 

The mandatory unit is assessed by reflective review.  Depending on the optional units selected , a choice of: reflective reviews, oral briefings, case studies, short answer questions, work-based assignments or cerntre-devised alternatives.

 

 

 

Entry Requirements

No entry requirements, but work experience is essential.  Participants will normally be either practising or aspiring team leaders with access to work based evidence.
