Level 2 Certificate for Door Supervisors

Validated by Security Industry Authority (SIA) this programme is the qualification required by candidates to apply for a licence for Door Supervision.  The programme aims to provide the candidate with basic knowledge and understanding to ensure the provision of a professional level of service as a door supervisor.

Overview

The course has two mandatory units and these cover:

  • Roles and responsibilities of door supervision
  • Conflict management for door supervisors

 

Candidates in receipt of a government benefit may be able to receive this course free of charge.  For additional information, please contact the Reservations Team on 01332 836638.

 

Externally set and marked exam paper for each mandatory unit.  Canddiates are allowed one hour for each exam.  Candidates must provide a recent passport sized photograph of themselves which is attached to their exam booklet.  Without this photograph, exam papers are void.  Candidates will also be required to provide ID documentation at their exam.  Candidates will be given further information on ID documentation prior to the course, when they receieve their course joining instructions.  Without relevant ID documentation exam papers are void.

Progress Route

Level 2 NVQ in Providing Security Services; Level 2 Security Practitioner; BCUC Foundation Degree in Protective Security.

Entry Requirements

Candidates must be over the age of 18 years.
