Retail Team Leading Apprenticeship
Why should I do the course?
If you are employed as a line manager, supervisor or team leader you will have acquired some of the skills necessary for your job. The course will enhance and expand your knowledge and give you a wider skill base.
What will I be studying?
Learners will work towards: -
- Level 2 BTEC Award Introducing Team Leading
- Level 2 NVQ in Team Leading
- Application of Number key skill at Level 1
- Communication key skill at Level 2
How long will the course last?
The course will last:
16 – 18yrs 15 months
19 – 25 yrs 13 months
What next?
You will be gaining more experience within your course and at work, and will possibly have more responsibility. You may wish to consider progressing to a Level 3 qualification or an Advance Apprenticeship
Are there any entry requirements?
For a Level 2 qualification you will need GCSE grades A-G in English and Maths. You will require an interview prior to your enrolment onto this course. In addition to good literacy and numeracy skills you will need to be well motivated and self-disciplined.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed on and off the job. You will be given dedicated mentors to support and guide you through your qualification
How much will it cost?
The Apprenticeship programmes are government funded and are free of charge to young people aged 16-25 who are in full-time employment.
