Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering

Validated by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, this course is designed to give an overview of the basic principles of Good Food Hygiene practice. This course is suitable for any candidate working in the food industry or anybody involved with the handling and preparation of food as first level training.

Legislation
Food safety hazards
Temperature control
Refrigeration
Chilling and cold holding
Cooking, hot holding and reheating
Food handling
Principles of safe food storage
Cleaning
Premises and equipment
